Discover A2 is a monthly meetup for remote workers, people who are new to Ann Arbor, and any adult who wants to connect with their community on a deeper level and learn more about downtown Ann Arbor. This month, we will be meeting local business owners and learning the stories about the neighborhood with Patti Smith, a local historian, teacher, storyteller, and author of several books on Ann Arbor history. We’ll meet at Cahoots Cafe at 4pm to check in and mingle, then walk to a couple nearby bars to have a drink and hear stories from the history of the neighborhoods, including "The Block", the red light district, and the infamous Star Theater Riot.

Registration required, all ticket sales will be donated to Patti Smith to support her storytelling work.
