Why Michigan:
Newlab recently launched two Innovation Studios based in Detroit in collaboration with Michigan Central and Ford. Through these studios, we are excited to expand our community to Michigan and foster an ecosystem of startups, researchers, investors, and entrepreneurs in areas beyond Brooklyn.
The virtual event will give attendees an inside look at a community that has grown from 23 companies to 160 since opening in 2016, with an aggregate value of $2.8B and over $400M in acquisitions and investments across member companies such as; JUMP, Seeqc, Nanotronics, Launcher, and Carmera.
You’ll hear from our CEO, Shaun Stewart, on the value of membership in a community of over 800 entrepreneurs, engineers, and innovators that are employing technologies such as robotics, A.I., and, blockchain, quantum computing, and material science to make a positive impact.
