Whether you are networking, interviewing, pitching, or just meeting new people, the most asked question is always, “So what do you do?” A powerful origin story answers this question in a way that showcases not just who you are and what you do, but why you do it and what sets you apart.
Join us for a series of fun, informal conversational activities designed to help you articulate your origin story in a friendly and supportive environment. Using the framework of Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey, you’ll develop an authentic narrative that helps you stand out from the crowd and create deeper connections.
This workshop is a fun and informal sandbox for professional adults who want to practice sharing your story in a supportive community. Every superhero has a great origin story, and so do you!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to…
Identify the key components of an effective origin story
Articulate your differentiators and unique strengths to craft your origin story
Receive feedback in small groups to understand how your story resonates
Write a bio or about page that shares who you are, what you do, and why
Ideal for:
Professionals looking to hone their interviewing or networking skills
Entrepreneurs looking to connect with likeminded people
Anyone who want to share their personal story and stand out from the crowd
