Webinar - How will COVID-19 impact Venture-Backed Startups?

As COVID-19 unfolds worldwide, a high level of uncertainty has manifested itself. Social distancing, self-quarantines, as well as federal and state mandates forcing the closure of businesses have become the new norm in recent weeks.

This webinar will feature a panel of experts as they discuss how this current crisis will affect venture-backed startups and how MVCA members can best prepare their portfolio companies to weather the storm. COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic crisis, of which we haven’t experienced in several years but is on the same level (if not greater than) as Sept. 11th, Recession of 2008, and dot com disasters.

This panel will also share their experience with lessons learned on how they best navigated those challenging times.

Panel:

Adrian Fortino, Managing Director, Mercury Fund
Jan Garfinkle, Founder & Managing Partner, Arboretum Ventures
Doug Neal, Managing Director, eLab Ventures
Max Sneyd, Attorney, Kerr Russell Attorneys and Counselors
Guy Turner, Partner & Managing Director, Hyde Park Venture Partners

Moderated by Ara Topouzian, Executive Director, MVCA
